What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?
Veterinary physiotherapy is the art of rehabilitating the body to improve mobility, strength and function. This is completed through a variety of techniques and expertise from the veterinary physiotherapist. Veterinary physiotherapy is highly benefical for all animals from post surgey cases to arthritic animals, imporving an animal quality of life is the key goal for this service.
However you as owners also play a very important role in the programme with prescribed exercises or maintenance to do at home; a perfect partnership is created to give your animal the best treatment.
Veterinary physiotherapy treatments can only be performed under veterinary consent therefore, the animals veterinary practise would need to be contacted prior to visit.

by yourselves and your Veterinary surgeon before any treatment can
be given under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966
